🍞I can't remember the last time I ate something, and just genuinely experienced, or enjoyed it. Regardless of health or weight, I don't think there's a time where it was like "Wow, that was good. Gonna have loved it." And had the thought process end there. - 🥐Within 10 seconds of having something good or bad, the next thought is calories. Actually, the more likely scenario is I've already thought about calories before I put it in my mouth. Even before I started counted calories, I already thought about the impact of this food on my size. - 🍠I'm not a fan of getting emotionally attached to things, especially food. Gives me a headache. When I'm attached my head runs in circles although I know the outcome will be more or less the same. - 🥖Just a shower thought. Since hitting my weight goal I've heard a lot of conversations about "healthy relationship" with food. I dunno. - 🍕I don't think I could ever get into a relationship with food again. Didn't work well the last time. Only reason I've been able to maintain and prevent a rebound is to reject the relationship. - 🍟I've loved you food, but with everything else considered. Sorry for being gone from Insta for so long!! I have just been crazy busy and didn't even upload any of the videos I had...but I have definitely been at it. I haven't posted in progress picture in a long time, but I feel this one is super important --- Partway through my cut, at about 200 to 202 lbs (from about 210 or so). I should post an INSTA update: I finally finished my bulk and got to about 210 or so, the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I have started my cut a little over 2 weeks ago, while also adopting a "300 abdominal challenge", which never has a rest day --- each day, the goal is 300 reps of various abdominal activity, largely crunches, but also, jacknives, Russian Twists, etc...anyway, there is some super slight bending of skin, given my posture here, but my green tea and water diet (water to shed excess water weight and green tea to boost metabolism and aid in burning stomach weight), combined with nights of salmon and spinach and brown rice, combined with the 300 abdominal challenge, are all producing results faster than expected. I believe I am about 18 or so days into my 30 day challenge and am curious to see how things progress in a couple of weeks as I slowly continue to cut. I think my K' cosplay will be easier to put on...maybe, lol. I have been going to the gym less though, opting for home workouts due to crap weather. Our hormones play key roles in our metabolism, cravings and our appetite. ⠀⠀ Holding excess fat in our stomach area may be due to high estrogen, insulin and cortisol levels and lower testosterone levels. ⠀⠀ High estrogen – causes more fat to accumulate around the belly. Try adding in some green tea, turmeric, ground flax & chia seeds to help decrease levels of estrogen. ⠀⠀ High cortisol – Stress is correlated to belly fat.
