Un estudio publicado en Appetite demuestra que esas grasas, además de ser buenas para el corazón, ayudan a sentirte lleno por más tiempo. Participantes del estudio con un mayor consumo de omega-3 (más de 1,300 mg al día) reportaron menos hambre después de sus comidas, al igual que 2 horas después. Se han hecho investigaciones específicas en pecanas, una buena fuente de grasas monoinsaturadas. Un estudio siguió a participantes en una dieta baja en grasa, con o sin pecanas. Ambos grupos comían las mismas calorías y perdieron el mismo peso a los 6 meses, pero los siguientes 6 meses, los que comieron pecanas siguieron perdiendo peso y grasa y el otro grupo dejó de perderlo aunque seguían la misma dieta. 4️⃣ PROTEÍNA: Intenta consumir proteína magra (pescado, pollo, pavo, carne magra). Además de ser un nutriente esencial, ayuda a mantenerte lleno por más tiempo, que es un gran beneficio cuando quieres perder peso. En un estudio, participantes que desayunaron más proteína estaban más llenos (y comieron menos calorías en la comida) que los que desayunaron poca proteína. 5️⃣ AGUA 💦: Tomar más agua se relacionó a una pérdida de 2.5 kg en 1 año.
